I seriously love getting to photograph friends!
In college, I worked part-time in the front office of a local swim school for kiddos (shout out to Sea Otter Swim Lessons in Loomis!) I met Jordan right away, since she was one of the swim instructors giving lessons there. You can immediately tell that Jordan is a bubbly, sassy, lovable human being within just a few minutes of meeting her! After a while, Jordan started splitting her time between teaching swim lessons and working in the front office, so I got to know her even better.
Well, it's been 5 years since I started working at Sea Otter, and life has taken most everyone in new and exciting directions. Well, just ONE of the new and exciting directions for Jordan is that she got engaged to her sweet boyfriend Eddie! And after getting a random text from Jordan asking me to take their engagement photos, I couldn't be more excited.
We met up at one of my favorite sunset spots in El Dorado Hills and got right to work! These two made sure to tell me how they NEVER take photos and they aren't photogenic whatsoever. And after about two seconds, I quickly realized that was simply not the case! They were fabulous!
She came well prepared with an outfit change and a cute wedding date sign! Love!
Being right at the top of a hill meant lots of glow and warmth for their photos. We got sunset shots galore!
All in all, a wonderful way to spend my evening. Can't wait for you to become Mr. and Mrs. Montoya!
